What you will do

• Lead teams and develop high-quality software solutions for customers and end users.
• Agree technical designs with customer architects and advise on effort estimates and technical implications of user stories and user journeys.
• Own technical decisions across software projects, including architecture, estimation, product planning, and requirements creation.
• Incorporate non-functional customer concerns into application design.
• Manage, coach, and develop junior staff, including supporting performance and career development.
• Make reasoned technical decisions in a fast-moving delivery environment.

Requirements

• Experience delivering software designs for multi-tiered modern applications.
• Experience owning the technical direction of a product or software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning, and user story or requirements creation.
• Understanding of customer non-functional concerns and experience incorporating them into application design.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Ability to communicate technical designs clearly in conversations, documentation, and presentations.
• Ability to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community.

• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and data storage technologies.
• Experience managing others, setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews.
