Solution Architect Lead

What you will do

• Translate business, information and technical requirements into solution architecture blueprints for client objectives.
• Provide solution architecture expertise across large and complex digital projects.
• Work with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to design technology solutions and system dependencies.
• Lead target designs, policies and standards, maintaining stable and consistent architecture across projects.
• Provide hands-on support for complex solutions and code migrations alongside development teams.
• Coach and develop Product Developers across squads.

Requirements

• Broad understanding of enterprise, data, application and solution architecture layers for enterprise-level platforms.
• Track record delivering end-to-end solution architecture for large, complex, multi-channel digital projects.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure, SaaS, IaaS, cloud infrastructure and multiple programming languages.
• Experience with architecture best-practice processes and frameworks such as TOGAF, architectural patterns and models.
• Consulting experience, with confidence presenting, collaborating and building relationships with clients and development teams at all levels of seniority.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of open-source technologies in full-stack environments, including code management, testing and deployment tools.
• Experience in a professional services business in a solution architecture role for leading corporate clients.
• Commercial awareness of software implementation costs, system ownership and the impact of new technology on established organisations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery processes.
• Understanding of IT organisations, functions, roles and activities.
