Middle/Senior Product Designer (Contract)

Location: Remote from Europe, working Spanish business hours; occasional travel for team or client sessions. The project is based in Lviv, Ukraine.

hirify.global is delivering a multi-platform digital experience for sport broadcasting across responsive web, mobile apps, and connected TV.

What you will do

• Own the product experience end to end, from user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes through production-ready UI.
• Design across responsive web, native mobile, and connected TV.
• Build and maintain scalable atomic design-system component libraries, including interaction patterns, states, typography, colour, and iconography.
• Design experiences for live results, schedules, scores, real-time updates, content discovery, and athlete features.
• Use AI tools for exploration, asset generation, production acceleration, and design QA while retaining final design judgement.
• Collaborate with the Design Lead, multidisciplinary designers, project management, design directors, content, and development teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level product design capability across UX and UI, with a portfolio covering web and native mobile; connected TV experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining design-system component libraries at scale within a team.
• Experience with large, complex products, multiple stakeholders, multiple platforms, established design systems, and real scale is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Figma, including auto-layout, variants, and design-token workflows.
• Experience with user flows, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and prototyping tools.
• Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility requirements.
• Understanding of platform-specific UI conventions for responsive web, iOS HIG, Android Material, and connected TV.
• Experience designing for real-time data and live-event contexts; sports or broadcast experience is preferred.
• Practical daily use of AI tools and ability to demonstrate their impact on design work.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required. Comfortable presenting work to clients.
• Precise, fast, and reliable within sprint cycles; able to take direction and give clear feedback to developers.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish.
• Connected TV design experience.
• Experience in major events, sports, broadcast, or streaming.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and coded prototypes.
