Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, United States

Base pay: $168,000–$245,000 annually, determined by geographic pay tier, location, skills, experience, and qualifications; eligible for equity, comprehensive benefits, 401(k), and flexible time off.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product design initiatives across visual, interaction, motion, and brand integration for mobile and web experiences.
• Prototype and test ideas quickly in Figma using AI and low-code tools including Replit, Lovable, and Claude.
• Present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership, incorporating feedback and balancing user needs with business goals.
• Partner with Engineering through implementation, QA, and post-launch iterations to maintain high-quality execution.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research, data, and performance insights to improve product experiences.
• Advance system-level thinking, design-system practices, and team processes while balancing multiple projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX/UI design experience, including 5+ years designing consumer mobile and web applications.
• Proven experience driving user testing and research.
• Strong foundations in interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.
• Experience designing and shipping mobile applications at scale.
• Hands-on proficiency in Figma and modern AI/prototyping tools.
• Ability to ship small copy and UI changes directly in code without engineering support.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader design vision and strategy.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including presenting persuasively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Commitment to accessibility, consistency, visual storytelling, brand integration, motion design, and high craft standards.

• Experience with conversational or AI-native UX.
• Experience at multiple organizations, including a fast-paced consumer-product startup.
• A portfolio demonstrating beautiful, functional, user-friendly products that have been designed and shipped.
• Experience shipping copy and UI changes directly in code.
