AI Product Designer

Location: Remote in Spain only; candidates must be based in and eligible to work in Spain. Office work is also possible in Barcelona.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to design and ship user-centred marketplace solutions from concept through production.
• Translate commercial goals into design logic, define success metrics, and run experiments that demonstrate measurable customer and business impact.
• Use AI-native workflows and tools such as Lovable, Claude, and Cursor to prototype, iterate, and ship live product experiences with engineering pair-support.
• Design AI-assisted interaction patterns, including multi-step and human-in-the-loop experiences, while reviewing and improving AI-generated outputs.
• Build and maintain coded components for the Nexus design system for direct use by engineering teams.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and design reviews, communicating design rationale and data to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX or digital product design, with a portfolio showing shipped work and live prototypes rather than only static screens.
• Regular use of AI tools such as Figma Make, Lovable, Cursor, Claude, or equivalent tools as part of the design, prototyping, and iteration process.
• Ability to read and critique React and HTML through AI-generated outputs and guide prompts to refine interfaces, or fluency with no-code tools such as Lovable to ship without an engineering handoff.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and fast-moving, iterative product development.
• Systems thinking for probabilistic, AI-driven experiences and end-to-end product journeys.
• Strong collaboration, communication, feedback, reliability, honesty, transparency, and support for the best idea rather than personal ownership of an idea.
• Growth mindset focused on learning and adaptability as the design landscape evolves.
• Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
