Contract & Tender Management Specialist (IVD)

Location: Full-time onsite in the Mörfelden-Walldorf office, Germany

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end public and private tender lifecycle across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Coordinate tender submissions, documentation, and bid responses with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Administer customer contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms throughout their lifecycle.
• Serve as the internal contact for tender platforms, healthcare procurement processes, and contract inquiries.
• Support hospitals, laboratories, purchasing groups, and public procurement organizations with administrative and commercial follow-up.
• Track active bids, deadlines, and contract renewals using Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Tender Management, Contract Management, Sales Administration, or a similar commercial support function.
• Proven experience managing public and private tenders within the DACH region.
• Mandatory experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry; candidates from Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or broader Healthcare backgrounds may be considered with substantial tender experience.
• Deep understanding of healthcare procurement processes, online tender platforms, tender documentation, and customer contract frameworks.
• Practical experience working with hospitals, laboratories, purchasing groups, and public procurement organizations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English are mandatory.
• Degree in Sciences or Business, preferably Life Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use basic office equipment, remain stationary for long periods, and communicate with stakeholders through various means.

Nice to have

• French and/or Italian language skills are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
