Contract Specialist (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Donauwörth, Germany; onsite at the hirify.global Helicopters site

What you will do

• Act as the independent and neutral voice of the contract across hirify.global Helicopters divisions, interpreting and enforcing strategic commercial terms.
• Safeguard profitability, support margin recovery with P&L holders, and prevent contract value leakage.
• Manage contractual claims and breaches from detection through documentation, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Draft and secure contractual correspondence within required turnaround times.
• Advise on supplier-failure mitigation, negotiation strategies, and complex T&Cs.
• Govern contract modifications and data capture through Contract Lifecycle Management tools, and deliver training to operational teams.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive, long-standing professional experience in Contracts, Finance, or a related field.
• Expertise in complex contract drafting and aerospace/defense T&Cs.
• Understanding of the contractual impact on margin and financial performance.
• Ability to maintain operational independence and act as a neutral counter-power.
• Strong ability to navigate matrix organizations and influence without hierarchical authority.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement, including LBIP+, and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
• Fluent English required.

• French, German, or Spanish language skills.
