Finance Analyst (PropTech)

What you will do

• Act as a dedicated finance partner to the sales organization and represent Sales Finance to senior leadership.
• Track new business results, analyze trends, and build dashboards measuring ROI at individual, team, and organizational levels.
• Process monthly commissions, ensure accurate and timely payments, and maintain transparency in commission operations.
• Monitor quota attainment, adjust quotas as needed, and provide analysis and recommendations based on market and strategy changes.
• Use predictive analytics to identify business tailwinds and potential issues while supporting strategic decision-making.
• Assist with annual sales planning, quota planning, management reporting, ad hoc analysis, special projects, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, new business analysis, or equivalent business experience.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including joining multiple data sources, building pivot tables, and using advanced formulas.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including communicating financial results and influencing stakeholders toward organizational goals.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
• Highly motivated, self-starting, strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and high performance.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Gemini.
• Experience writing Python code.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Power BI.
• Familiarity with commission management software.
• Previous sales commission experience is helpful but not required; training is available for candidates with strong foundational Excel and data connection skills.
