FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)

What you will do

• Support monthly financial close, reporting, forecasting, and annual planning processes.
• Analyze actual results and variances against forecasts, plans, and prior periods to identify business drivers, risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Partner with business, Finance, and Accounting leaders on forecasts, financial decisions, reporting accuracy, and business insights.
• Prepare recurring reports, presentations, ad hoc analyses, financial models, business cases, and investment analyses.
• Communicate financial results clearly and identify improvements to financial processes, reporting, analysis, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across teams and functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, curious, accountable, and comfortable learning through challenging assignments with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Prior experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required; relevant internship, academic, or equivalent experience is considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial statements and GAAP.
• Experience with financial planning and reporting systems, Power BI, Power Query, or other data and workflow-automation tools.
