Data Quality Assurance Analyst (BI)

Location: Nottingham, United Kingdom; hybrid with at least 1–2 days per week in the central Nottingham office

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 per year; 12-month fixed-term contract; 35-hour work week

What you will do

• Develop and establish QA standards and measures for BI and IT services.
• Write test plans and scripts, track defects and fixes, and verify data processes.
• Analyse BI/MI data processes and revise QA standards as needed.
• Design, coordinate and execute system, unit, regression, load and acceptance testing.
• Test software applications, information systems, operational systems, reports, dashboards and data models.

Requirements

• Experience designing, developing and implementing QA standards for BI, software, services and infrastructure testing.
• Proven experience in a BI or QA role.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and strong knowledge of system-testing best practices.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL testing processes.
• Proven data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience testing SSRS reports, Power BI reports and dashboards, and SSAS Tabular models.
• Understanding of data quality principles, data governance practices and data security measures.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum.
