Quality Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; flexibility and mobility are required, including time onsite with clients and partners.

What you will do

• Define and implement modern Quality Engineering strategies for clients.
• Develop and improve automated testing and software delivery practices.
• Work hands-on with engineering teams to build solutions and solve quality challenges.
• Lead and support other engineers while advocating for efficient, low-complexity technical solutions.
• Contribute to internal and regional Quality Engineering communities by sharing knowledge and shaping technical discussions.
• Adapt to different client domains, roles, and technology stacks.

Requirements

• Several years of experience defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering concepts, including automated testing.
• Comfort working with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, for example Playwright with MCP.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Passion for improving quality, productivity, and software delivery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems with people at different levels in an egoless manner.
• Comfort with change and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt roles and stacks for client outcomes.
• Employment requires satisfactory SC security clearance, including five years of continuous UK address history and typically no periods of 30 or more consecutive days outside the UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience with cloud environments.
