QA Engineer (FTC until January 2028)

Location: Home based in the United Kingdom, with infrequent travel to Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester, as required

Salary: £42,160–£46,844 per annum, depending on experience

What you will do

• Plan, design, update, and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts for new or updated systems.
• Identify and manage defects, validate business scenarios, and support smooth service transitions.
• Perform functional, usability, regression, UI, performance, and security testing.
• Carry out automation and regression testing where possible using internally developed tools and applications.
• Collaborate with the Application Development team and other stakeholders within an agile delivery process.
• Support continuous integration and deployment practices and integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar QA Tester or test automation role.
• Strong demonstrable experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
• Experience in QA testing with D365, F&O, and Azure Logic Apps; experience with Totalmobile is ideally required.
• Knowledge of programming languages, SQL, KQL, and scripting.
• Strong experience in performance, security, functional, usability, regression, and UI testing.
• Experience writing support documentation.
• Substantial experience working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
• Proven experience liaising with senior stakeholders and building relationships in a collaborative working environment.
