Sr. Software QA Engineer (Agentic Trust)

What you will do

• Own test planning and quality execution for complex SaaS features and services, including risk assessment, test design, automation, and release verification.
• Build and maintain API, integration, contract, end-to-end, and regression automation, including reusable utilities and framework improvements.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve test stability, execution efficiency, and diagnostics.
• Design load, stress, spike, and soak tests; analyze latency, throughput, errors, resource utilization, and scalability limits.
• Validate concurrency, retries, timeouts, dependency failures, recovery scenarios, tenant isolation, permissions, authentication, delegated authorization, and evidence integrity.
• Investigate defects and production issues, communicate residual risks, contribute to design and code reviews, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software quality engineering or software development experience, including substantial hands-on test automation.
• Strong programming proficiency in at least one modern language and experience maintaining code-based automation suites and reusable test utilities.
• Experience testing SaaS services in cloud environments, including APIs, distributed-system behavior, asynchronous processing, and multi-tenant workflows.
• Hands-on experience with performance and scalability testing, workload design, bottleneck investigation, and resilience validation.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, debugging, test-data management, and production telemetry.
• Ability to independently deliver complex testing assignments, make risk-based tradeoffs, and collaborate with technical and nontechnical partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity, authentication, authorization, PKI, cryptography, zero-trust systems, or verifiable evidence.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, service virtualization, or fault-injection testing.
• Experience with Chaos Monkey or equivalent tooling for testing robustness and recovery under simulated infrastructure failures.
• Familiarity with agentic AI, MCP, LLM integrations, or testing workflows with nondeterministic outcomes.
• Experience testing regulated or security-sensitive products and maintaining traceable test evidence for assurance reviews.
