Business Analyst (Software)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working with one day per week in the office

Salary: £35,000–£37,000 per year, plus benefits

What you will do

• Work within the Projects team to understand customer and business needs.
• Define scope, document requirements, and support the delivery of effective bespoke software solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and software development professionals.
• Contribute to projects for market-leading brands using Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience working on software projects using Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
• Experience working with customers or internal stakeholders to understand business needs, define scope, and document requirements.
• General understanding of application development, databases, integrations, and system design.
• Awareness of cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, including the ability to manage expectations and build positive working relationships.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks.
• Genuine desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
