Business Analyst - HR Transformation (Absence Excellence)

Location: Hybrid in London or Glasgow, United Kingdom. A valid UK working permit is mandatory.

What you will do

• Review problem statements and programme scope, and conduct current-state assessments across absence and workforce management processes.
• Analyse HR policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks, identifying inefficiencies, manual workarounds, and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews, including with senior stakeholders, to gather business requirements.
• Produce end-to-end process maps and journey maps, and support future-state design and gap analysis.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Technology, Change, and Programme stakeholders.
• Prepare programme artefacts, documentation, and governance updates while ensuring alignment with risk, control, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven Business Analyst experience within Financial Services.
• Experience supporting HR Transformation, HR Change, or Workforce Management programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and process mapping expertise.
• Experience conducting workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HR operating models and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with Workday.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Immediate availability and a valid UK working permit are mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in absence management, leave management, workforce administration, or employee wellbeing programmes.
• Experience reviewing and simplifying policies and processes.
• Knowledge of governance, controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes.
