Project Manager (Payment)

Location: US-Remote; remote workplace with a dedicated, secure work area, high-speed internet, and maintained office setup required.

Base compensation: $100,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own delivery of a defined payment project from initiation through close, including scope, timeline, resources, communications, and delivery readiness.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs, status reports, governance artifacts, and documentation.
• Facilitate meetings, decisions, issue resolution, stakeholder follow-up, and timely escalation of risks and tradeoffs.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, PMO Analysts, business stakeholders, Product, R&D, Operations, and vendors when applicable.
• Use AI responsibly to draft status reports, maintain RAID logs, generate meeting notes and action items, build project plans, and prepare stakeholder communications.
• Share project management best practices and complete assigned special projects and other duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of project management experience required.
• Project management certification required: PMP, CAPM, or equivalent.
• Experience running cross-functional projects with disciplined status, RAID, and timeline management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Agile and waterfall delivery methods.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, or other project management tooling.
• Skills in project planning, schedule management, issue resolution, meeting facilitation, stakeholder communication, execution discipline, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate, solve problems, think critically, complete tasks independently, interpret data, make timely workflow decisions, maintain focus, and apply established protocols.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation and remain stationary or repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers as required.
