Sr Project Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, United States, with a Remote option.

Salary: $116,500–$225,300 annually, varying by work location and job-related factors.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional enterprise projects within the Strategic Operations division.
• Establish project success criteria and measures with the Program Manager and project sponsor.
• Build and manage project schedules, documentation, artifacts, scope, cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Track project health, status, risks, dependencies, issues, and change control, providing executive-level visibility.
• Drive progress through influence, relationship management, escalation, mitigation, and timely issue resolution.
• Present ideas and project information to diverse audiences while cultivating stakeholder and team relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience completing medium and large or complex projects on time.
• Experience leading project teams and driving delivery against established outcomes, including formal and informal leadership in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks of varying complexity under pressure, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Business-oriented, motivated, energetic, relationship-focused, and able to articulate concepts and processes to solve business problems.
• Ability to collaborate on project artifacts and work effectively in a dynamic, change-oriented environment.
• Experience leading and managing projects using traditional Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, negotiating, decision-making, and consensus-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related discipline, plus a minimum of eight years leading projects across varied frameworks and methodologies.
• PMP certification and proficiency in Claude, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, and JIRA.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Agile certification such as CAPM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt certification.
