Senior Project Manager (IT Services)

Location: Remote, Phoenix, Arizona / United States

Salary: USD 150,000–170,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and any applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of complex, high-risk, high-visibility client engagements from initiation through closure, maintaining delivery against scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client outcomes.
• Lead client relationships, including executive-level communication, success-definition alignment, status reporting, escalations, and coordination across concurrent hirify.global engagements.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, scope changes, and early warning signs that could affect customer success.
• Plan and control schedules, budgets, resources, revenue, utilization, margin, RYG status, RAID logs, and other portfolio data using hirify.global systems and project-management tools.
• Lead cross-functional teams involving internal departments, clients, vendors, and subcontractors; facilitate meetings, decision forums, and executive readouts while coaching less experienced Project Managers.
• Support statements of work and pursuits, develop project change orders, conduct closeout and transition activities, and feed lessons learned into future scoping and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in client-facing, professional services, or technology delivery.
• Ability to articulate business outcomes and success indicators, translate delivery activity into business value, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Client-service mindset, professional presence, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, ownership, adaptability, resourcefulness, and commitment to continuous improvement across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong financial and operational discipline, including proactive management of project budgets, margin, utilization, forecasts, and resource assignments.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project-delivery approaches.
• Practical problem-solving skills, including identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints and escalating appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, willingness to learn hirify.global systems and project-management tools, and technical familiarity with or ability to quickly learn assigned solutions and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while leading cross-functional teams of internal departments, clients, and vendor or subcontractor organizations.

Nice to have

• PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Experience in IT services, consulting, or technology delivery environments.
• Experience with the specific technologies and solutions delivered in assigned engagements.
