Technical Recruiter (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for infrastructure, systems, and networking roles, from sourcing and screening through interview coordination and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders on role scoping, talent-bar calibration, and interview-loop design.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies and outbound campaigns for passive, highly specialized infrastructure candidates.
• Assess technical signal and discuss distributed training, cluster networking, Kubernetes/container orchestration, and systems programming with candidates and engineers.
• Manage candidate experience, advise candidates through offers and closing, and coordinate clear interviewer feedback.
• Track pipeline health and hiring metrics while developing recruiting playbooks, tools, and processes for a growing infrastructure organization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including hiring for infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering roles.
• Ability to hold substantive technical conversations about distributed systems, cluster or cloud networking, container orchestration, and systems languages.
• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers on intake, talent-bar calibration, and interview-loop design.
• Independent judgment on candidate quality and ability to manage multiple concurrent searches with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience at a high-growth AI, machine learning, or infrastructure-focused technology company.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse or Ashby and modern sourcing tools.
• Experience building sourcing strategies or recruiting processes from scratch at an early-stage or fast-scaling team.
• Genuine interest in Thinking Machines' mission and the role of world-class infrastructure teams.
