Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales and business development experience selling complex capital equipment, integrated solutions, or large-scale projects in energy, oil and gas, chemicals, power, industrial gases, or related sectors.
  • Proven success originating, negotiating, and closing multi-million-dollar USD capital equipment, technology, or EPC-type contracts with long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Established senior decision-maker network across South American developers, industrial companies, energy majors, EPC contractors, financial institutions, and government stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project development, structured contracting, project finance, commercial agreements, guarantees, risk allocation, bankability, and investment decisions.

  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, managing pricing and margins, and coordinating cross-functional, multicultural, geographically dispersed teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for engaging executives, engineers, financiers, government representatives, and strategic partners.
  • Familiarity with South American regulatory frameworks, procurement practices, and business cultures; proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM and Microsoft 365.
