Intern - Operations Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop and maintain operational reporting and analysis to support business needs and decision-making.
• Analyze operational data, trends, processes, and performance metrics to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
• Support scheduled and ad hoc reporting requests using data mining, spreadsheet, and reporting tools.
• Validate data and reporting outputs for accuracy and reliability.
• Support reporting, analytics, and process-improvement projects; track status and communicate progress, risks, and needs.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations for business partners, team members, and business leaders.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited college or university, with at least one semester remaining when the internship starts.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in daily work.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias; integrate AI into workflows; and use AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.

• Junior or Senior classification.
• Major in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Exposure to Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, or other reporting and data-analysis tools.
