Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel 1–20% within the US

Salary: $62,000–$93,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Support forecasting and budgeting for business unit expenses, capital, and headcount.
• Gather information from business areas and maintain financial structures.
• Prepare financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Coordinate with HR on cost center personnel assignments and with cost center managers on budget and forecast performance.
• Research anomalies in financial and operational data and provide ad hoc forecasting or strategic finance support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to learn and operate computer programs and software.
• Adaptability, attention to detail, ability to change priorities quickly, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and perform sedentary work, occasionally handling up to 10 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience or exposure to managing large data sets.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, especially Adaptive Insights.
• Ability to extract data for analysis from multiple disparate software programs.
• Ability to synthesize ambiguous raw data, identify meaningful trends, and communicate findings succinctly.
