Lead Financial Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters with in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Salary: $91,325–$114,158 base pay per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead financial forecasts, annual budgets, long-range plans, and business performance analyses.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.
• Analyze results, trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations to support performance and profitability.
• Partner with business leaders and senior stakeholders; prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive recommendations.
• Own KPI reporting, performance frameworks, cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and working capital recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, reporting automation, process improvements, regulatory analyses, and mentoring for junior analysts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, insurance finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success independently managing complex financial projects and influencing business decisions.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, business analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, translate complex data into actionable recommendations, and manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills and executive presence when presenting to leadership.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another advanced financial designation.
• Experience building executive-level reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
