Construction/Delivery Project Manager (Data Centre Construction)

What you will do

• Manage data centre construction projects end to end, from initiation through final handover to Operations.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify critical paths, mitigate risks, and support procurement activities.
• Own project budgets, manage change control and claims, agree contracts with contractors and suppliers, and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate Design, Commercial, Sales, Operations, municipalities, government agencies, contractors, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, the project quality manual, approved designs, and commissioning plans.
• Prepare decision-gate approvals, governance materials, Board requests, calculations, schedule projections, and support future sales opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Project Manager experience in data centre construction, mission-critical facilities, or a related high-stakes industry such as pharmaceutical, energy, or large-scale manufacturing.
• Additionally, 3–5 years of experience in mission-critical data centre development, general construction, and heavy MEP systems construction.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, construction methodologies, building codes, and health and safety regulations in Germany.
• Experience managing multi-million-euro projects with delivery on time and within budget.
• Advanced financial acumen, including budget management, cost forecasting, and change control.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
