Senior Project Manager (Industrial Construction)

What you will do

• Lead complex construction, renovation, infrastructure, and demolition projects in a high-tech industrial environment.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, compliance, and operational continuity throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage governance, reporting, forecasting, project controls, and executive decision-making processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage escalations, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and service providers.
• Align requirements, dependencies, and decisions with regional and global stakeholders while balancing operational and business priorities.
• Improve project management standards, governance, reporting practices, and support the development of project managers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale construction, refurbishment, or infrastructure projects in industrial or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Proven delivery of projects supporting production facilities, manufacturing operations, or critical business infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cleanroom, media supply, and industrial facility systems.
• Expertise in project controls, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and governance within complex organizations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and strong command of Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and German is required.
• Independence, resilience, strategic thinking, structured analysis, decision-making under pressure, communication, ownership, results orientation, stakeholder management, and conflict management skills.
