Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager

Location: Blieskastel, Germany; the role is based in Frankfurt and includes regular international business travel.

What you will do

• Manage M&A projects end-to-end, from market screening and target identification through transaction closing and integration.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor analyses to assess acquisition opportunities.
• Perform financial analyses and business valuations using comparable companies, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow models, and business cases.
• Coordinate due diligence with Finance, Legal, consultants, investment banks, advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare decision-making materials and recommendations for senior management and executive leadership.
• Improve M&A governance, processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• First professional experience in Corporate M&A, Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Strategy Consulting, or a comparable environment.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with sound business acumen.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills in an international setting.
• Fluent German and English.
• Proactive, curious, resilient, and able to build effective relationships across cultures and functions.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
