Digital M&A Programme Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Hamburg Area, Germany; work at hirify.global's largest civil aircraft production site. National and international travel is required as deal milestones require.

What you will do

• Translate European M&A strategy into regional execution plans for newly acquired businesses.
• Lead digital IT due diligence, assessing technical debt, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity risks.
• Define transition strategies, execute Transition Service Agreements, and lead system separation for divestitures and affiliate transformations.
• Manage digital post-merger integration, including software cutovers, system migrations, infrastructure alignment, and data governance.
• Coordinate European M&A leads, local business functions, external partners, Enterprise Architecture teams, and Technology Specialists across countries and time zones.
• Co-develop and standardize a global Digital M&A Playbook with scalable methodologies, tools, and repeatable processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IS/IT project or programme management experience, including leadership of IT workstreams in M&A, post-merger integration, corporate restructuring, or company creation.
• Experience working in transnational, matrixed organizations and translating European corporate strategy into international operational delivery.
• Deep IS/IT knowledge covering enterprise application integration, legacy modernization, and cloud environments.
• Strong cross-functional orchestration skills, including management of senior local stakeholders and third-party advisory consultants.
• Proven expertise applying Waterfall project management in complex, high-stakes enterprise integration programmes.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required by deal milestones.
