Expert Manager, Tech Transformation (Germany)

Location: Berlin, Germany; travel is required across DACH.

What you will do

• Deliver and operationalize strategic technology transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between technology strategy and implementation.
• Lead and coordinate client, third-party, and cross-functional teams, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, governance, and delivery assurance.
• Establish and implement PMO tools and processes, including Microsoft Project and ServiceNow, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Research client organizations and industries through interviews, focus groups, and workshops; manage quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes.
• Prepare reports, workshop materials, business proposals, and recommendations, translating data into insights for key decision-makers.
• Develop client relationships, identify value-creation opportunities, move recommendations into execution, and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technology transformations, technology consulting, a startup, or another business environment, including project management for large technology transformations.
• Experience collaborating with vendor partners such as IBM or Accenture.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or another technology-related field.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Knowledge of project and program management methodologies, process improvement, and risk management.
• Experience developing client relationships, driving collaboration and decision-making, and bridging software and systems expertise with business leadership requirements.
• Experience with project management tools used in large IT transformations, such as Microsoft Project and ServiceNow.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to prepare and present deliverables to decision-makers, articulate insights and recommendations, manage execution, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Passion for technology topics including architecture, process excellence, cloud, and delivery assurance.
• Availability to travel across DACH is required.

• MBA or courses in digital or technology transformation.
• Familiarity with change management techniques for sustaining changes to business operations.
