Intern/Working Student Procurement & Logistics (Fusion Energy)

What you will do

• Support daily procurement operations by preparing purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, tracking confirmations and deliveries, and assisting internal requesters.
• Request quotes, compare offers, and research suppliers for technical components, including optics, lasers, and laboratory equipment.
• Maintain supplier and master data, including HS codes and countries of origin, and support goods receipt and internal distribution across sites.
• Help implement AI applications, test changes in the Marvelous Request Center, and document processes and work instructions.
• Resolve delivery issues, run spend analyses, and prepare results for management.

Requirements

• Currently studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable subject.
• First experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance is preferred, for example through an internship or working student position.
• High diligence, quality awareness, independence, ownership of data quality and documentation, cost-consciousness, and a can-do attitude.
• Curiosity about technical products and interest in understanding engineering requirements.
• Team-oriented and communicative working style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Confident written and spoken German and English communication is required.
• Availability for at least six months, ideally twelve, working 16–20 hours per week during the semester.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience with AI tools.
