Solution Architects (Enterprise Architecture)

Location: 100% remote; hirify.global Lisbon is listed as the office location. Tech Visa support is available for candidates outside the European Union.

What you will do

• Define and design application and integration architecture solutions aligned with functional and technical project requirements.
• Document and represent solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle, serving as a reference point for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to explain, defend and align architectural decisions.
• Produce reference architectures for business areas, including globally considered technologies.
• Define Golden Rules, perform GAP analyses against existing solutions and develop transformation roadmaps.
• Estimate financial impacts and build business cases to support top-management decisions.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in the role being contracted.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a similar field.
• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices, including capability models and strategic-level architecture projects.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR.
• Knowledge of Cloud Dev and SaaS applications, with emphasis on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with application integration and promoting reuse of existing methods and processes.
• Ability to conduct business workshops, create executive-level presentations and develop business cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, autonomy, teamwork, solution orientation, knowledge sharing and commitment to delivery quality.
• English is mandatory; Portuguese and Spanish are valued.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
