Principal Architect – Technology Solutions Group

Location: Fully remote

Salary: $165,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery with client business and technology stakeholders and translate ambiguous needs into requirements and solution approaches.
• Design end-to-end solutions across applications, cloud, data, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, automation, security, and AI.
• Evaluate architecture alternatives for scalability, maintainability, performance, security, cost, and delivery risk.
• Own technical solutions and delivery approaches for opportunities, including scope, workstreams, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, team structures, and estimates.
• Develop technical content for proposals, Statements of Work, RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations, partnering with sales, account, delivery, and leadership teams.
• Advise client executives and technical teams, support prototypes and proofs of concept, transition solutions to delivery, develop reusable architecture assets, and mentor technical staff.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years in solution, technical, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Broad knowledge of application architecture, cloud platforms, data systems, APIs, integrations, distributed systems, infrastructure, security, and DevOps.
• Ability to turn incomplete requirements into architectures, delivery plans, estimates, and appropriate team structures.
• Direct experience working with clients and senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead through influence and remain hands-on for prototyping or technical validation.

Nice to have

• Consulting, professional services, systems integration, or other client-facing delivery experience.
• Experience shaping project-based or outcome-based engagements and contributing to technical proposals and Statements of Work.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience developing AI or generative AI solutions.
• Experience creating reusable architecture standards, frameworks, patterns, or accelerators.
