AI Technical Program Manager

Location: San Francisco, USA; hybrid work setup.

Starting base salary: $193,000–$213,000 USD annually, tailored to experience and skill set.

hirify.global is a hyper-growth Series C fintech building an AI-powered financial companion for Latinos in the US, starting with AI- and crypto-enabled remittances and expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services.

What you will do

• Translate AI priorities into technical plans covering scope, requirements, milestones, success metrics, acceptance criteria, and owners.
• Turn incomplete briefs into testable hypotheses, baselines, experiments, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate dependencies and technical decisions across Engineering, Product, Data, FDE, AI Enterprise, and platform teams.
• Manage execution, commitments, blockers, risks, escalations, and deployment readiness across quality, latency, cost, and permissions.
• Verify FDE integrations in receiving-team environments and secure ownership for support, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Partner with AISec and the AI Governance Committee and convert project lessons into reusable briefs, checklists, decision records, and handoff standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex technical programs or software delivery across several teams, with examples of personal judgment, design contributions, decisions, and results.
• Practical skills in Python, SQL, APIs, authentication, Git, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with at least one LLM SDK, such as OpenAI or Google, for prototyping integrations and debugging issues.
• Understanding of data modeling, pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with tool calling, multi-step orchestration, state, structured outputs, human review, fallbacks, and useful evaluations.
• Ability to assess quality, latency, cost, and permissions risks; establish baselines; validate assumptions through experiments; and balance sophistication with operational constraints.
• Track record of translating between business and engineering teams, influencing without formal authority, mentoring others, and escalating decisions early.
• Ability to provide examples of solution designs, evaluation decisions, or delivery outcomes; confidential work may be discussed without sharing proprietary material.
