Senior Technical Program Manager (Data)

What you will do

• Own enterprise data initiatives across product telemetry, platform health metrics, and modern analytics infrastructure from inception through organizational adoption.
• Coordinate Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Operations to resolve dependencies and deliver programs without direct reporting authority.
• Author technical requirements, user stories, execution roadmaps, and delivery milestones based on complex business needs.
• Partner with engineering on pipeline reliability, data event streaming, service level agreements, governance, and unified data definitions.
• Implement intake processes, milestone tracking, stakeholder updates, and risk identification to support predictable delivery.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of technical program management experience delivering complex, multi-team data programs in high-growth technology environments.
• Ability to write SQL independently to explore schemas, validate datasets, and investigate anomalies.
• Foundational knowledge of modern cloud data architectures and tools such as Snowflake, dbt, or Fivetran.
• Experience using AI-assisted developer utilities such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for analytical workflows and technical problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to executive leaders and software engineers while driving cross-functional alignment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with customer discovery, requirements documentation, and multi-quarter product roadmaps.
• Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence.
• Python proficiency for exploratory analysis and lightweight automation.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, data privacy standards, and enterprise data cataloging.
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Snowflake SnowPro.
