Lead Architect -GenBI Insights Platform (AI)

Annual base salary: $173,700–$286,600

What you will do

• Own and evolve the reference architecture for the GenBI Insights Platform from implementation through ongoing capability expansion.
• Set architectural standards, technical direction, and buy-versus-build decisions while maintaining platform coherence.
• Drive the architecture strategy for AI capabilities toward production readiness at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with business-unit architecture and engineering teams across varied data landscapes, integration patterns, and use cases.
• Contribute to cross-domain architectural decisions with peer architects across EDDA value streams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
• At least 7 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience and 2 years of technical leadership experience.
• Architecture experience with depth in AI, data, and knowledge architecture, including enterprise context layers.
• Recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies and successful execution of complex, large-scale technology strategies.
• Applied experience with RAG-based architectures, vectorization approaches, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Understanding of architectural observability, traceability, and hallucination mitigation for production AI capabilities.
• Advanced leadership, communication, collaboration, mentoring, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with agile operations, transformational change, technology target states and roadmaps, business capability models, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance industry.
