Senior Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Chicago hub, Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: $194K–$228K annually, plus equity and commission

What you will do

• Lead strategic technical discovery with Fortune 500 prospects and customers, translating business challenges into AI-powered technical solutions.
• Architect secure, scalable generative AI solutions using Writer’s platform, APIs, and custom applications.
• Develop and run proofs of concept and demonstrations, including custom templates and integrations.
• Advise C-suite executives, engineering leaders, and AI leaders on generative AI strategy and enterprise architecture roadmaps.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
• Promote adoption of Writer’s platform and APIs by educating prospects and partners about generative AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or sales engineering, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS company serving Fortune 500 clients.
• Deep expertise in generative AI principles, large language models, and prompt engineering best practices.
• Experience with Python, APIs, and end-to-end orchestration for augmenting AI workflows and integrating AI capabilities into complex enterprise systems.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to lead multi-stakeholder discovery sessions, identify root causes, and architect solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
• Builder’s mindset, strong customer empathy, willingness to challenge the status quo, and ability to own the technical success and impact of client engagements.
