Senior Technical Program Manager (Information Security)

Location: Remote, Maine, United States of America; Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America

Base pay: $100,500.00–$122,100.00 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical implementation projects and maintain security portfolio workstream plans, milestones, tasks, and activities.
• Partner with Product and Technology leaders to plan program increments, define work breakdown structures, and create execution roadmaps for system consolidations and workflow enhancements.
• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate work across engineering teams involving application routing, authentication systems, and environment configurations.
• Coordinate with security teams to ensure internal services meet governance requirements and modern architectural standards.
• Maintain Atlassian data quality for status reporting, metrics-driven decisions, and financial capitalization.
• Measure outcomes and adoption, communicate changes, and enable stakeholders to adopt new processes and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in senior technical program management roles managing complex, interdependent security projects and enterprise-level change.
• Experience managing security projects across platforms, applications, endpoint security, infrastructure, networks, email security, and cloud/container security.
• Experience partnering with system owners and engineers on scoping, task management, budget oversight, and delivery from inception to completion.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, mitigate risks, align cross-functional teams, and work independently across global time zones.
• Experience with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, and other regulatory frameworks, including standardizing, automating, and optimizing technologies and processes.
• Deep proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence; project changes must be implemented through change-control processes.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder-influence skills, including documenting findings, detailing issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments.
• PMP or Agile certification.
