Program Manager (Active TS/SCI Clearance)

Location: Hybrid in Herndon, Virginia, typically 2–3 days per week on-site; candidates should live within approximately 50 miles of the office.

Base salary: $124,800–$173,200 USD, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent software implementation and technology projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Act as the primary liaison for customers, engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, forecasts, status reporting, risk mitigation strategies, and governance practices.
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues while maintaining delivery quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement through project management methodologies, tools, frameworks, and reporting practices.
• Support operational excellence, project delivery consistency, customer success, and additional assigned initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of program or project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives of varying complexity and scope.
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Experience managing software development, implementation, or technology-focused projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with project management and business systems such as Certinia PSA, Salesforce, and Concur.
• Leadership experience in matrixed, cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience in environments requiring cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, or government-related controls.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or traditional project management frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree. Active TS/SCI clearance with current SSBI is required or preferred as stated in the posting.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster, or similar certification.
• Experience supporting government contracts, government customers, enterprise commercial programs, or regulated industries.
