Sr. Logistics Engineer (Commercial)

Location: Hybrid/remote role targeting Virginia, Rogers, Arkansas, or Battle Creek, Michigan; occasional travel to client locations or an hirify.global hub up to 25%.

Salary: $81,200–$99,000 per year for Virginia.

What you will do

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative supply chain data to identify opportunities and challenges in the CPG domain.
• Use reporting and modeling tools to evaluate and optimize transportation and distribution network strategies.
• Conduct lane benchmarking using market intelligence, internal data, procurement insights, and external sources.
• Partner with client teams and coordinate with hirify.global engineering and data analyst resources.
• Build, maintain, and deliver ad hoc and recurring reports through Tableau, TMS, and internal client systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of analyst or engineering experience.
• Data analytics experience supporting a Consumer Packaged Goods company through a 3PL or directly with a shipper.
• Hands-on proficiency with Tableau and Transportation Management Systems.
• No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise reporting systems and supply chain data modeling.
• Basic knowledge of optimization software and SQL.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation strategies, and network design.
• Ability to model real-world distribution networks and translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
