Logistics Analyst

Location: San Diego, United States of America; hybrid home/office workplace

Base salary: $69,432–$92,577 annually; eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan that is not guaranteed.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day logistics and transportation activities, including carrier management, shipping processes, and operational issue resolution.
• Monitor performance, analyze trends and cost drivers, and identify opportunities to improve service, cost, and efficiency.
• Conduct business assessments, evaluate alternatives, and recommend and implement practical operational solutions.
• Support carrier relationships and contracts, shipping requirements, budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and compliance.
• Partner with hirify.global teams, carriers, and logistics providers to coordinate business changes, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
• Use WMS, TMS, SAP, and Excel to analyze operations, prepare reports and presentations, and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, operations, supply chain, or a related area.
• Knowledge and experience with logistics and transportation functions, including carrier contracts, shipping processes, rules, and procedures.
• Ability to conduct business assessments, analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions with minimal supervision.
• General understanding of accounting and budgeting processes.
• Experience with or general knowledge of WMS, TMS, SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work across stakeholders, support business or process changes, build alignment, and work independently within established policies and procedures.
• Honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct are material requirements.

Nice to have

• Spanish language proficiency.
• CTPAT knowledge, experience, or related certification.
