Vendor Manager, Performance & Compliance

Location: Remote, but must be based near one of the Austin, Los Angeles, Beaverton, Frisco, or Mountain View offices in the United States; occasional travel to vendor sites and in-person collaboration may be required.

Salary: $81,000–$129,600 annually, plus potential bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Own quality performance across the registered agent and virtual mail vendor network, reviewing results and setting resolution targets.
• Drive corrective actions through closure and escalate repeat or high-risk issues with recommendations.
• Partner with quality and enablement teams on scorecards, trend analysis, targeted retraining, and vendor performance reporting.
• Maintain compliance and accurate records for customer address changes and resignations across state systems and internal tools.
• Develop processes for resignations and future address changes and lead data cleanup efforts with external partners.
• Monitor state and regulatory requirements, partner with Legal, and improve quality and compliance workflows using AI tools with human review.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in vendor quality, compliance, partner management, or operations, ideally in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
• Experience managing external partner performance, including performance reviews, corrective action plans, and accountability to standards.
• Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records in a regulated setting.
• Ability to use data and quality insights to identify trends, set expectations, and measure improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including leading difficult vendor conversations and presenting results to functional leaders.
• Sound judgment on moderately complex problems and ability to weigh factors and escalate effectively.
• Process-improvement mindset with experience documenting SOPs and playbooks.
• AI fluency, including using AI tools to analyze data and improve workflows with careful human review.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with registered agent services, Secretary of State filings, virtual mail or mail-handling operations, or other regulated document-handling work.
