Director, Procurement

Location: Remote within the United States; Central time zone hours required

Salary: $134,600.00–$249,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Define corporation-wide procurement governance, standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory operations.
• Oversee procurement contracting standards, templates, clause libraries, contract compliance, agreement review, and escalation.
• Establish governance, audit readiness, compliance reporting, dashboards, executive scorecards, KPIs, and SLA reporting.
• Execute regulatory supplier contracts and requirements while maintaining ethical and fair procurement practices.
• Lead procurement support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, operating model design, and procurement transformation.
• Train the organization on procurement standards, monitor adherence, research regulatory developments, and govern internal and external communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably involving purchases with complex contract requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement processes and vendor management programs.
• Extensive knowledge of procurement law and legal risks associated with procurement practices and contract language.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Law degree or master’s degree.
• Leadership experience in procurement, governance, or compliance, including policy development, governance frameworks, complex cross-functional projects, and audit readiness.
• Knowledge of contracting standards, change management, and KPI development.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• State bar admission or Certified Procurement Manager certification.
