Vice President of Operations (AI)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; hybrid. Candidates must be U.S. citizens to obtain the required U.S. Government security clearance. ITAR eligibility also requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility for required authorizations.

Salary: $210K–$250K annually, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Translate company strategy into OKRs, KPIs, resource plans, operating reviews, decision tracking, and accountable cross-functional commitments.
• Shape corporate strategy and lead cross-functional go-to-market planning and new-business initiatives, including taking Operations as a Service from concept toward launch.
• Lead AI Business Operations, identifying high-value workflows, building internal knowledge infrastructure, and deploying automation with measurable efficiency gains.
• Own facilities planning, buildouts, procurement, vendors, and readiness for classified spaces while partnering with Security, IT, Contracts, and program leadership.
• Lead legal operations, corporate administration, equity and records management, government-business registrations, export compliance, insurance, business continuity, and operational risk management.
• Lead fundraising diligence readiness and partner with Finance on operating plans, budgets, board materials, and growth investments.

Requirements

• Experience leading operations at a growing technology company, with exposure to government contracting or another regulated market.
• Demonstrated success building teams, systems, and operating processes through significant organizational growth.
• Experience contributing to corporate strategy and leading cross-functional go-to-market or new-business initiatives from concept to launch, with a focus on revenue and business outcomes.
• Experience across facilities, legal operations, compliance, or business operations.
• Hands-on experience using AI, technology, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with venture-backed company governance, equity administration, and fundraising diligence.
• Ability to turn ambiguous priorities into clear plans, coordinate executive peers, and hold teams accountable for commitments.
• Strong judgment about when to act directly, delegate, escalate, or engage specialist expertise.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; an active clearance is not required at hire but may be required later.
