VP of Enterprise Operations (AI/SaaS)

Location: United States

Base salary: $270,000–$315,000 USD annually. Annual bonus or commission may also be available.

What you will do

• Design and operate the ELT forums, decision rights, accountability standards, commitments-and-decisions log, and escalation process.
• Own integrated planning from long-term ambition through annual priorities, departmental plans, OKRs, budgets, and quarterly resource reallocation.
• Run the annual board and committee operating process, including agendas, materials, executive preparation, follow-ups, and investor coordination.
• Serve as business owner for the AI-native executive operating system, redesigning workflows for executive briefs, KPI commentary, decision memory, commitment tracking, strategy-to-OKR traceability, and board materials.
• Lead time-bound, CEO-sponsored enterprise initiatives with clear charters, success measures, and handoff plans.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of business or enterprise operations experience, including direct ownership of an annual planning cycle end to end at a software company.
• Proven experience running a board cycle with private equity or growth equity investors.
• Experience in operating or business-operations leadership roles, not exclusively staff or advisory positions.
• Ability to hold senior executives accountable to commitments while maintaining strong peer relationships.
• Experience eliminating unnecessary meetings, reports, and processes to improve organizational efficiency.
• Hands-on experience personally redesigning operational workflows using AI tools.
• Strong financial literacy and ability to partner with Finance on resource envelopes and reallocation.

Nice to have

• Early-career experience in management consulting or investment banking.
• Experience running an end-to-end annual planning cycle at a SaaS technology company with $200M–$1B ARR.
• Experience with small-business customers, self-serve growth models, or healthcare technology.
• M&A integration experience.
• Previous experience as a product owner for internal tools.
