ServiceNow Architect

Location: Toronto, Canada. Most roles follow a hybrid workstyle aligned to an hirify.global office, with in-person collaboration based on client, team, development, or relationship-building needs.

Compensation range: $103,500–$190,100 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead architecture and technical design for complex ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures, technical designs, integration strategies, data models, and implementation approaches.
• Advise clients on ServiceNow platform strategy, capabilities, scalability, security, governance, and best practices.
• Provide architectural oversight across the implementation lifecycle, reviewing risks, performance, security, maintainability, and technical debt.
• Design integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, and related technologies.
• Lead workshops, solution reviews, client discussions, technical direction, mentorship, solutioning, estimates, proposals, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, including significant experience designing and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• Experience as a ServiceNow Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Developer, or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, development, integrations, data architecture, security, and implementation best practices.
• Hands-on solution design and technical leadership across one or more ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC/IRM, or other relevant capabilities.
• Experience translating complex requirements into scalable ServiceNow architectures and evaluating trade-offs involving business needs, platform capabilities, scalability, security, maintainability, and technical debt.
• Experience designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, or related technologies.
• Experience leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, design reviews, and solutioning sessions with clients and technical teams.
• Ability to mentor and provide technical direction to developers, consultants, and ServiceNow practitioners.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Strong consulting, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow architecture experience in professional services or consulting, including large-scale, complex, or enterprise-wide transformation programs.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Technical Architect, or Certified Master Architect credentials.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience across multiple ServiceNow products and with platform governance, instance strategy, integration architecture, data architecture, security, performance optimization, and technical debt management.
• Experience contributing to estimates, proposals, statements of work, demonstrations, and client pursuits.
• Experience presenting complex architecture recommendations to C-suite leaders, senior technology leaders, enterprise architects, and other client stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
