Associate Data Analyst (Marketing Analytics)

Location: San Diego, United States of America; hybrid home/office workplace

Base salary: $76,375–$101,834 per year; eligible for an annual corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Collect information from internal and external sources and maintain databases.
• Analyze and interpret data to support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Produce routine business reports and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain Power BI data, dashboards, and workspaces, including troubleshooting.
• Create dashboards, flowcharts, graphs, and other visualizations to communicate data and support marketing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a concentration in business data analytics.
• Background in analytical work and strategy development, including marketing analytics experience.
• Experience connecting Power BI and SQL to data from different sources and transforming it into actionable business intelligence reports.
• Experience creating visualization dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros; Access skills for querying and creating tables and formulas.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct are material requirements.

Nice to have

• One year of related experience in a marketing analytics position reporting to a marketing or sales group.
• Experience with SAP/FICO, especially PBP and PRP modules.
• Experience using data visualization languages or tools such as Tableau or Looker.
