Construction Manager, Electrical - Memphis (AI Data Center)

Location: Full-time, onsite role based in Memphis, Tennessee; relocation is required depending on additional construction locations within the United States.

What you will do

• Lead the electrical construction scope for the Memphis data center as the senior site representative.
• Manage contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders from pre-construction and site development through commissioning and controls.
• Coordinate duct banks, high- and medium-voltage systems, power distribution, grounding, lighting, process power, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and PDUs.
• Identify and mitigate quality, safety, system integrity, operational readiness, schedule, and cost risks.
• Resolve field roadblocks, manage change orders, perform quantity take-offs and field verifications, and report progress through KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead safety around energized equipment, excavations, and heavy electrical work while supporting cross-functional project needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing data center or construction projects.
• Experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects.
• Expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations.
• Ability to lead onsite with authority and build trust with vendors, partners, and technical teams.
• Experience managing large programs with multiple vendors and changing priorities.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and composure in complex real-time situations.
• Ability to work in noise, lift at least 25 lbs, travel as needed, and work evenings and weekends according to site operational needs.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug testing, random drug and alcohol testing, and pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in data center construction or highly technical facilities.
• Familiarity with local Memphis building codes and regulations.
