Program Manager SME (Enterprise IT)

Location: Remote, United States; associated with Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead regional Enterprise Systems Management support services across Texas, Oklahoma, and surrounding areas.
• Direct geographically dispersed contractor personnel supporting Army installations, Network Enterprise Centers, and mission-critical IT operations.
• Serve as the primary contractor interface with Government leadership, Contracting Officers, CORs, and technical stakeholders.
• Manage contract operations, PWS compliance, performance metrics, deliverables, reporting, and Quality Control Plans.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise IT operations, systems administration, network management, cybersecurity, and infrastructure support.
• Coordinate resources, risk mitigation, incident response, continuity procedures, financial oversight, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience managing enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, network operations, or DoD IT support programs.
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams in complex IT environments.
• Experience managing Government contracts and interacting with senior Government stakeholders.
• Experience developing and implementing Quality Control Plans and Quality Assurance programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems management, network operations, systems integration, and IT service management.
• Experience with ticket management systems such as AESMP, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting performance, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• Experience supporting Army Network Enterprise Centers, Regional Network Enterprise Centers, or SANEC organizations.
• Experience with Army enterprise IT modernization and systems management initiatives.
• Knowledge of Army ITSM, configuration management, and change management processes.
• Familiarity with enterprise network engineering, systems integration, virtualization, and cybersecurity operations.
