Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Design, operate, and improve Kubernetes platforms across self-hosted clusters and AWS.
• Own Terraform and Ansible infrastructure as code and drive versioned, reviewed, reproducible GitOps workflows.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines and shared templates for reliable development, testing, and deployment.
• Operate and scale GPU clusters, media engines, and data analytics infrastructure for demanding workloads.
• Improve observability, alerting, availability, vulnerability scanning, image screening, secrets management, and access controls.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams on scalable architectures, technical direction, engineering practices, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including designing and scaling highly available production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, including upgrades, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Solid AWS cloud infrastructure experience combined with operating bare-metal or self-hosted environments.
• Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, modern container builds, or GitOps workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate reliability, scalability, and maintainability trade-offs.
• Experience collaborating across engineering and product teams to deliver secure, robust infrastructure solutions.
• Deep Linux knowledge and strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash, focused on automation and tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience operating GPU workloads on Kubernetes or machine-learning infrastructure.
• Familiarity with FluxCD, Rancher, or RKE2.
• Experience with large-scale video or streaming workflows and AWS media services.
• Experience managing and scaling Kafka or other messaging and event-streaming systems.
• Experience operating and optimizing relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
