Land Development Project Manager

Location: Rogers, Arkansas, United States; overnight travel required.

What you will do

• Manage vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel developing raw land for homes, lots, infrastructure, landscaping, parks, and community amenities.
• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans, project specifications, contracts, as-built plans, drainage plans, and lot-related documents.
• Plan and oversee infrastructure installation, construction schedules, critical paths, milestones, inspections, and delay reporting.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional officials, civil engineers, utility consultants, utility companies, homebuilding superintendents, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
• Support bidding and awards by developing scopes of work and pay scales, preparing bid packages, calculating quantities, reviewing purchase orders, and tracking market pricing and budget shortfalls.
• Oversee BMPs for SWPPP and dust control and ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes, ordinances, regulations, and company policy.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three years of related experience with civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, and/or hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, MS Office, and email.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions using DRH applications and apply common-sense judgment.
• Ability to travel overnight.
