Inventory Planner (Food Logistics)

hirify.global’s Supply Chain Operations manages the supply of products between suppliers and retailers, with this role supporting hirify.global Food logistics, warehousing, cold-chain transportation, and goods flow to stores.

What you will do

• Own supplier-to-distribution-centre and/or distribution-centre-to-distribution-centre inbound availability for assigned products, distribution centres, and markets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and execute inbound flows, including orders, ERP corrections, physical-flow corrections, bookings, and deviation handling.
• Balance availability, food safety, freshness, cost, sustainability, and lead-time adherence when planning and following up inbound flows.
• Coordinate suppliers and logistics service providers through confirmations, holiday planning, inbound coordination, and invoice follow-up.
• Manage deviations involving quality, blocked goods, shelf life, shortages, and inventory accuracy, escalating when needed.
• Improve ways of working with suppliers, logistics service providers, distribution-centre operations, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in supply-chain operations, inventory planning, supply planning, inbound logistics, or distribution-centre flow.
• Confident use of ERP, such as Infor tools, together with order-management and planning systems.
• Ability to use operational KPIs, inventory data, and deviation follow-up to make clear decisions, including Excel and Power BI.
• Understanding of availability at lowest cost, freshness, quality, and inventory-accuracy risks, including when to act or escalate.
• Strong communication across suppliers, logistics service providers, and internal teams.
• Accuracy, structure, and commitment to keeping inbound goods flows reliable every day.
